Moose Lake Area
| We started this
local group knowing we had a long term commitment to Haiti. We
also knew many other Kids Against Hunger groups had that same
commitment. With the combined efforts of many dedicated
individuals, we have responded to the earthquake in Haiti in 2009,
contributed to the national effort that distributes food throughout
the world, and to local food shelves and the Union Gospel Mission.

Great fun at ARISE in Cloquet, June 2013
A hardy crew of 46 volunteers gave up a mostly sunny Father's Day afternoon to make breakfast for15,552 children.
Once they are delivered, that many meals could provide a meal for every child every day for a year at a school giving them the chance to concentrate on things kids should be concentrating on instead their grumbling bellies.
