Kids Against Hunger - Moose Lake Area Responding to Haiti
We started this local group knowing we had a long term commitment to Haiti. We also knew many other Kids Against Hunger groups had that same commitment. With the combined efforts of many dedicated individuals, the response to the recent events in Haiti is already under way. Some of our food from the September event went to Haiti in December, all of our food for our next event will be going there. Our goal is to send 50,000 meals to Haiti. This will combine with many others to be part of the rebuilding of that country. Haitian people are poised to restore their country and be a great neighbor. Right now, that neighbor needs a little help from us. To reach our goal, we will need $12,500 We have some ingredients ready to pack and we will be having a packing event on February 27th, 2010 Time and Locations to determined We are accepting donations now for more ingredients to make this event even more successful. Checks sent to our address do not incur fees, so that is the most effective way to donate, but if you would like to click and donate, you can do so here: ********* CONTACT INFORMATION Kids
